Las Vegas, Nevada
Desert X Adventure Village is an outdoor adventure destination master plan near Las Vegas, Nevada, envisioned as a $645 million development that blends high-energy recreation, immersive design, retail, dining, and event programming.
Positioned within the mountainous desert landscape, the project was designed as a one-of-a-kind destination where outdoor adventure, entertainment, hospitality, and lifestyle experiences come together in a carefully choreographed environment.
At the center of the development is a state-of-the-art, re-circulating whitewater “Superpark” that serves as the primary activity hub. From this central feature, a variety of extreme and adventure sports radiate outward to create an integrated ecosystem of movement, recreation, and visitor engagement.
The master plan includes a major amphitheater for large-scale concerts and events, a vibrant retail district, and three distinct dining venues. These social and commercial spaces support the project’s role as both an active recreation destination and a year-round entertainment village.
The development also includes an indoor and outdoor climbing facility, an artificial ski slope, competition-grade bobsled and luge tracks, and a dynamic zorbing course. Together, these elements create a broad range of experiences designed for visitors seeking adventure, activity, and memorable shared experiences.
Liquid Design led the conceptual design phase for the project, providing comprehensive master planning, program development, and high-impact visualizations. The design approach emphasized spatial synergy, user flow, and the creation of an iconic destination that redefines outdoor recreation in the desert landscape.
The result is an ambitious destination concept that brings together recreation, entertainment, retail, dining, and adventure sports into one immersive outdoor lifestyle environment near Las Vegas.
