Málaga Centro Mixed-Use Development. Location: Málaga, Spain
After a recent visit to Spain, our team was inspired to imagine a solution for a series of sites in Malaga, Spain. The designs incorporate curved elements into large-scale mixed-use architectural “dream projects” while experimenting with the power of AI. The fictional projects serve as an exercise to push our thinking and ability to develop a solution for our real-world client in the U.S. who has requested a built environment with a lot of curves.
This site is located at the west end of Malaga’s famous “Walk of the Park” park, and it is nestled conveniently between 3 of Malaga’s most important landmarks, the Malaga Museum, the Malaga Cathedral, & Malaga’s Harbor Muelle Uno. And the site is adjacent to the famous retail promenade Calle Larios. Our large-scale mixed-use development has direct pedestrian access to the museum. To achieve this, we created a vehicular tunnel under our development to for Walk of the Park Boulevard. A major roadway that runs parallel to the park. This development has a boutique hotel, condominium apartments, and 2 levels of luxury retail.
