Waveyard
Mesa, Arizona.
Originally envisioned as a $275 million development, this one-of-a-kind themed outdoor recreation and mixed-use community in Mesa, Arizona expanded to over $700 million in scope during the conceptual design phase. Positioned to become a premier outdoor adventure destination, the project is anchored by a next-generation re-circulating whitewater “Superpark,” seamlessly integrated with a variety of other water-based recreational experiences. Designed as a vibrant hub for activity and lifestyle, the development also incorporates retail destinations and office spaces, creating a dynamic environment where sport, leisure, and commerce converge.
Liquid Design provided comprehensive conceptual design services, including site planning, architectural programming, and illustrative renderings for all recreational venues—such as whitewater and surf facilities—as well as the surrounding commercial and retail components. This early-phase visioning helped establish the framework for a transformative destination centered on water-based adventure.
